Tips for Staging the Finishing Touches

• More isn’t always best…Sometimes less is more!
• Your area should always be clean & decluttered.
• Start with a focal point, normally in the centre of the area.
• It is good to have balance in your area.
• Add different heights & textures.
• Grouping in 3’s seems to always be the magical number.
• Always try to add something Green!
• Adding something wood &/or something metal always adds a cool element.
• Seasonal Staging adds an extra touch to your home during the holidays.
• If your not sure about something, let it marinate!
• Walk away & look at everything from different angles.

• Frames or Mirrors
• Greenery- fresh flowers, plants, wreaths, fake stemmed flowers, succulents are my new go-to favorite (best of both worlds-fresh, but super hard to kill)!
• Vases
• Doughbowls
• Candles/Candlesticks
• Something Vintage – great for conversational pieces
• Scales
• Crates
• Demijohns
• Spritzer Bottles
• Something with sentimental value
• Seasonal items during the season: pumpkins, easter eggs, pinecones, ornaments…etc.
