Finding the Perfect Light with EcoSmart

This post is in partnership with The Home Depot, a brand & company I love. All opinions here are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that help support this blog.

I am just finishing up remodeling this Breakfast Nook and have been working so hard to make it perfect. The last thing to add is lighting. I am partnering with EcoSmart at The Home Depot to show you how important finding the perfect lighting is to a space. It actually is not only important it is EVERYTHING! Good lighting can absolutely change the whole look and mood of a space. It might be hard to believe that a simple light bulb can have such an impact on a space…so let me show you!

Now, there is really no wrong or right light tone to choose. It is completely a personal preference. It all depends on your style, mood and vibe you are trying to create. EcoSmart has three various light tones. First though…can we talk about how amazing my new gold chandler is? It is also from The Home Depot and I am so obsessed!

EcoSmart Daylight

Daylight is your brightest light. It is a bluish white light and really pulls towards cool tones. It is great for brightening up spaces and helps when you don’t have a lot of natural light. Perfect for reading, working and areas that need an accent light.

EcoSmart Bright White

The EcoSmart Bright White is a good in-between tone between Daylight and Soft White. If you are finding that Daylight is too cool and bright or Soft White is too warm and dark, Bright White is the perfect compromise.

EcoSmart Soft White

Soft White is a soft yellowish light that creates a very moody atmosphere. It is a gentler light then the others. It pulls very warm tones. Soft white would be perfect in a dining room where you would want a more intimate setting.

Here’s a great example of the differences that lighting can make. It’s literally day and night or I should say daylight and soft white. 😉 The EcoSmart Daylight and the EcoSmart Soft White bulbs use LED technology and are also all dimmable, so you can change the brightness of them, as well. The EcoSmart bulbs have 360 degree light distribution and use only 5-7 watts of energy. Not only do they brighten up your space but, they save you money each month on your electric bill, sometimes equal to a 90% cost savings over traditional light bulbs…who doesn’t love to save?

Like I said, it’s all about personal preference and I am Daylight bulbs all the way in every single space and room. I love things super Bright! I have been using these EcoSmart LED Daylight Classic Glass Bulbs in clear glass forever. They are in every single bedroom and bathroom in my home and have been for a while since these bulb have a 15,000 hour life span.

Now, for my new Chandelier from The Home Depot, I was in a big debate on the right light bulb. I knew I wanted to stick to Daylight but, now I had to choose between these three Candelabra bulbs.

I liked the globed EcoSmart Daylight Clear Bulbs one because it gave the whole space a more modern vibe which I absolutely love.

This LED Dimmable light bulb with the white bottom was a little more trendier and looked perfect on my previous light fixture because it had faux white candles.

In the end, I went with the classic EcoSmart Daylight Chandelier bulb. It gave more a more romantic vibe but, still with all the natural white light that I absolutely love. Also, I used the EcoSmart LED Daylight bulbs for all my recessed lighting in this space.

EcoSmart LED Light Bulbs are one of my favorite light bulbs. They have amazing features such as LED technology, dimmable options, 360 degree light distribution, color options, and style choices that will fit any space in your home. Most important they are cost effective with a 90% savings over traditional lighting and a 15,000 hour lifespan, not to mention EcoSmart offers a 5-year warranty and are recyclable. These bulbs are an awesome choice for any home…saving money and beautiful lighting…WIN…WIN!

I always think it’s important to remember where this project all started…Here is a little BEFORE. So much has happened in this space. If you want to see more about the floors, you can head to this blog post.
