Well, it has been almost two months since I started my KonMari journey. And it has most definitely been a journey…filled with lots of trash, recycles and so much organizing. All we have left is the garage, and maybe some photo keepsakes. I fully blame my husband and the fact that it is just plain cold outside in the winter to be organizing a garage as to why we haven’t gotten to that part of the house. The photos, well that is all me, they are so distracting and then I get so sad my kids are so grown up!!
Can you believe it?? Spring is here…and we all survived another Winter, some of us better then others! 😉 So, let’s finally let Spring into our homes. Nothing is better than opening up those windows and letting the fresh air and light into our homes. This year for Spring, I am trying to keep it light and airy in my decor. I thought I could bang-out a super quick project in-between getting all the kids off to school. The girls leave around 8:30 and my little guy leaves around 11, so that gives me 2.5 hours. Obviously I must have fallen out of bed that morning and hit my head because I’m not sure what I was thinking.
Does this ever happen to anyone else? Or am I completely alone? I often get an idea in my head of something I should do, even though there are 500 other more important things I should be doing and I just can’t help myself.
Need a fun and creative way to organize all your kiddos stuff? Well, I have a great option for you. When it comes to storage sometimes it’s necessary to be creative and think outside the box. I’ve been working on updating a girls playroom lately and like so many of our kid’s spaces the biggest struggle is 1) finding a space for all of…
