Jeffrey Court All-Star Challenge Reveal

Did you blink? That’s how fast the Jeffrey Court All-Star Challenge went by. Just like before renovating a bathroom is definitely hard stuff but, in the end completely worth it! Did you know that this is the last bathroom in my home that needed to be renovated! That’s all 3 bathrooms gutted and rebuilt back up by ME! Big thank you to my friends at Jeffrey Court for making that feat even possible! Not to mention having some of the most beautiful tile in them! Also, huge thank you to Pfister Faucets for helping sponsoring this amazing project. All of their fixtures really brought the whole space to life.

Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge ~ Week 1

Hey guys! So a new adventure begins this week and it’s going to be my biggest project to date! I was recently invited to participate in the 2019 Fall Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge. The challenge is to renovate a space over the next six weeks. That’s right I said six weeks! Each week will be judged by a panel of Jeffrey Court judges. You will even get the chance to be involved and get to help vote for your favorite designer 😉 The winner of the contest will win a $5,000 dream vacation. This will sound super cheesy, but I feel like I already won…I get to transform a space using amazing tile by Jeffrey Court. I am all in!!!

DIY Bicycle Wreath

How beautiful is this DIY Bicycle Wreath!!! This wheel was stashed in my hoarders garage that I have been cleaning out and organizing for the last week, it’s been pretty daunting for the most part but, every once in a while I would find a treasure in my chaotic clutter. Like, this amazing vintage bicycle wheel.

I know what your thinking, a bicycle wheel is that really a treasure? Well, I would absolutely say YES! I found this bicycle wheel at a random vintage shop that caught my eye while driving. Can we say U-Turn…I knew as soon as I saw it what I wanted to do with it. Of course I have big plans for where this guy is going to end up, which is going to turn into a whole other giant project. So, for now I am going to share with you my simple and easy DIY Bicycle Wreath tutorial.

Hello Spring – DIY Porch Sign

It is hard to tell from the weather lately, at least where I am, but Spring is just around the corner. Really, it is, I promise…the flowers and trees will be blooming and we all will be sneezing and swatting away the bugs in no time. That means it is time to get the house ready for the Spring season. The easiest place for me to start is with the porch. This year I was thinking of adding a standing sign for something a little bit different. I always see the signs in the stores and think so cute…I could make that…so why not try it out and see if I really can make it??

The Power of the Pillow ~ DIY 10 Minute Pillow Tutorial

Life changing topics on our blog today…Pillow Talk…LOL! So if you haven’t figured it out by now…I am obsessed with pillows and adding them to all decor spaces. If you were to ask me what you could do to update your space quickly and cheaply, my first response would always be pillows. Well maybe, pillows and paint…but that’s a whole other blog post 😉

Do you walk into HomeGoods and see the 500 pillows and just run scared from the sight? So overwhelmed you don’t even have the slightest idea where to start. You think…ugh I’ll just keep those pillows the couch came with, they don’t look that bad. Stop Running!!! Seriously, these comfy little guys can really make or break your space and could be that key element you have been looking for to transform that space that is just ehhh to AMAZING!

You might be running, but I am rubbing my head all over those 500 pillows…talk about bringing Joy, that’s what pillows do for me!! So I thought I would share a few simple tips for how to choose and arrange your throw pillows. Fabric is key, but so is size and arrangement.

Fireplace Update!

Just thought I would pop in this week and share my final look of my fireplace makeover! Do you remember last week when I shared my half finished Shiplap photo? I thought I could bang-out a super quick project in-between getting all the kids off to school. The girls leave around 8:30 and my little guy leaves around 11, so that gives me 2.5 hours. Obviously I must have fallen out of bed that morning and hit my head because I’m not sure what I was thinking.

Does this ever happen to anyone else? Or am I completely alone? I often get an idea in my head of something I should do, even though there are 500 other more important things I should be doing and I just can’t help myself.
