Okay friends … let’s start 2o20 with the easiest DIY ever! Who’s ready? I’m teaming up with my girl Jessica at Itty Bitty Farmhouse to bring you this super fun project and tutorial. Do you have so many places that you want to add light fixtures but, don’t know how or don’t want to pay someone to install electricity. Well, I do and I even know how to run wires now. Let’s be serious though … sometimes you just want an easy project with NO mess!!!
This year for Valentine’s Day, I wanted to add a Modern twist to my decor. I thought it would be fun to try something a little different from the traditional red, pink and hearts but also, still stay true to the holiday’s fun, flirty style. I did a background of black and white, with pops of color using mostly pink and green. Then added lots of unique, easy and creative DIY’s that everyone can do. Also, remember it’s all about the details! If you look careful at all the pictures the final touches really finish off each space! 😉
As first time homeowners, I was so excited to get into this house and really make it my own. It had lots of potential but, required some much needed love!!! In our previous houses, which were normally base housing for the Army, the only thing I could do to make it my own was to paint. Sometimes, I would paint every single wall in the house and others I would pick accent walls to do. All those white walls, would make me crazy. Funny because now in my own home I keep painting everything Bright White!
Magnets may seem super dated, but after living overseas and traveling to so many countries these magnets are some of our most prized possessions!! 🙂 Even now after being home in the states, the kids and I love picking out our favorite magnet everywhere we go. It’s a fun, easy and inexpensive tradition!!! In our German apartment, I had my magnets proudly displayed on my circuit box…yikes…
Pallet projects are one of my favorites!! There are so many options and ideas out there for pallets these days. I can’t get enough and what makes them even better…they are FREE! Who doesn’t love free projects!!! I wanted to make shelves for my kids playroom to hold all of their books. Anything that can store some of their stuff and not have it…
